What does the Free plan include?
Free is a preview tier. It lets you try the workflow with a 30-second preview, saved history, and basic playback preview. Full-score exports require Pianist or Composer.
Which exports are supported?
Paid plans support PDF, MIDI, MusicXML, right-hand Numbered Notation, and Piano Roll access. Proprietary tab-editor formats are not part of the current published offer.
Can I paste a YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok link?
Yes, Song2Notation accepts supported public single-item links. The product imports audio first; private, regional, platform-restricted, or unresolved login-gated content may fail as an audio import failure.
Is the generated sheet music publication-ready?
No. The result is an editable draft for practice, teaching, arranging, and review. Final engraving, fingerings, dynamics, and publication polish still need human editing.
How are source rights handled?
Before creating a job, users must confirm they own the audio or have permission to transcribe it. Song2Notation is not a tool for bypassing copyright restrictions.
Where does transcription completion happen?
The frontend creates and monitors jobs. Completion comes from the background worker after verified artifacts are uploaded and finalized in the database.
